| my government is my soul lp. new international/funfundvierzig 4345 1990( vinyl and cd ) the re-formed bourbonese qualk trio of crab/miles/rossiter spent the 3 years (1987-90) in a recording silence constantly touring europe and east europe. the final outcome of these years was the highly acclaimed lp "my government is my soul" released in 1990 on their 'new international' label. the track "let it go" (with "trapped" as a 'b' side) was to have been released as a 12" single but the collapse of the distribution and pressing company cancelled the project. "ton ton macoute", however reveals a wry sense of humour; despite its title it is a strangely celebratory piece with a distinctive oriental flavour.
